Rose Lamb

Rose was born a "pioneer". Her father had abandoned her mother while she was expecting their fifth child. Rose assumed many early leadership roles in the family and by the age of twelve sold popcorn at a popcorn stand, on a street comer, to help make a living and also, sewn ALL of her own clothes. While growing up, she always worked downtown in some store or restaurant, was on the school debate team, student council and the honor role, etc. She loved Bible college, graduating with Master's in Children Education and authored a children's book entitled, "The Most Special Gift".

Rose's greatest strength, I believe, is taking something hopeless and turning it into something beautiful, (thus, she married me). She has a creative gift in designing, developing, and managing anything from a children's program to that of building a

house. She developed our visual and performing arts program for ages 4 through college. Rose would take 8 to 30 young people on tours and mission trips around the world, working during the day and ministering at night. I almost lost her, when her heart was taken up with the children of Kenya.

Though, she has always taught in our bible college, I've noticed her enjoyment of preaching has increased. Always, lovingly straight forward, extremely insightful, a queen of trivia, uncompromising of essential truth, throw's the best parties and is truly, the best friend and wife a man could ever hope in having.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. -- Psalm 103:1
