If This is True...Then Your Brokenness Isn't a Weakness
We often believe we need to have everything together for God to use us. But the Bible tells a different story: our brokenness doesn’t disqualify us—it’s often where God does His best work.
Psalm 34 reminds us that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” Throughout Scripture, the people God used most—David, Moses, Peter, and Paul—were deeply imperfect. Yet God worked through their weakness to reveal His strength.
The ultimate example is Jesus. On the cross, His body was broken, but through that brokenness came resurrection and redemption for the world.
The Japanese art of kintsugi illustrates this beautifully: broken pottery repaired with gold becomes even more valuable, with the cracks highlighted rather than hidden.
In the same way, God doesn’t erase our wounds—He fills them with His grace.
This message is an invitation to stop hiding behind the “I’m blessed” responses and perfect appearances, and instead allow God to meet us in our honest struggles—where real healing and transformation begin.
